About the role

We are looking for an experienced Property Claims Handler to manage a dedicated account of commercial property claims. This is a desk-based position with genuine long-term development potential — the business is committed to developing the right person into a qualified Loss Adjuster in the future.

Key responsibilities

Manage an account of approximately 250 commercial property claims

Handle a range of claim types including escape of water, accidental damage and related perils

Work closely with loss adjusters throughout the claims process

Handle files through to settlement, including reviewing scope of works

Produce and present management information

Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships

What we're looking for

Experience handling property claims, ideally within a commercial environment

Confident managing your own caseload independently

Strong customer service skills with a client-first mindset

Ambition to develop into a Loss Adjuster role over the longer term
