The Opportunity
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen with a highly regarded, independent London-based insurance broker with a rich specialism in the Arts and Entertainment sector. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Practitioner to join a close-knit, collaborative team where your technical knowledge will be valued, your development supported, and your contribution truly felt.

The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of a broad and varied portfolio spanning Commercial and Personal Lines, with particular exposure to the Arts, Entertainment and Events sectors. You'll be a technical anchor for the team, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, and correspondence with confidence and precision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end renewal process for key client portfolios, negotiating with underwriters and ensuring timely, compliant documentation
- Handling Mid-Term Adjustments and providing technical support to colleagues
- Acting as the internal referral point for technical insurance queries
- Supporting senior brokers in delivering high-quality advice to clients
- Managing client claims and escalating to leadership where appropriate
- Liaising professionally with clients, underwriters and insurers across all channels
- Maintaining accurate electronic records in line with GDPR requirements
- Ensuring full adherence to FCA regulations, including Contract Certainty and Consumer Duty obligations
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience within a Commercial Insurance company or insurance brokerage
- Strong knowledge across multiple commercial insurance classes
- Understanding of Personal Lines insurance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the aptitude to learn bespoke broking systems
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- FCA regulatory awareness and a commitment to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
Desirable:
- Experience with Open Gi broking software
- Background in or passion for the Arts, Entertainment or Events sectors
