Job title: Claims Handler & Operational/System Support
Salary: £35,000
Location: London (hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
PURPOSE OF ROLE
An established London insurance business is looking for a bilingual (English/Mandarin) Claims Handler to join a small, close-knit claims team of six.
The role combines hands-on claims handling with operational and system support. You will manage property damage claims, including Business Interruption, from First Notification of Loss through to final settlement, while also setting up new claims on the system and working with external IT partners to produce management information for reporting. Claims across other lines, such as Motor, also form part of the role.
The split is approximately 60% administration and operational support to 40% claims handling, making this a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build their claims experience while becoming the operational backbone of the department. Full support is given for training and development, including CII study.
