Audit & Quality Performance Lead – Liability Claims

The opportunity

I'm working with a leading TPA business on a senior technical hire within their Technical Governance team. This is a pivotal role for someone with deep liability claims experience who wants to move beyond day-to-day handling and into a position where they can genuinely shape quality and technical standards across a large claims operation.

The Day to day

·      Lead, claim, file and call audits across the liability team, ensuring decisions are correct, fair and consistent

·      Identify trends, knowledge gaps and common issues, translating findings into clear, actionable feedback

·      Design and deliver training and technical guidance to claims handlers — online and face to face

·      Act as a technical point of contact, providing coaching and advice on complex liability matters

·      Oversee quality reviews for high-profile clients, including disputes, litigation and higher-value losses

·      Manage a small volume of live claims for a key client, keeping you connected to day-to-day handling

experience

·      Solid, hands-on liability claims experience — EL, PL and Products Liability

·      Experience managing personal injury and property damage claims end to end beneficial

·      Strong understanding of legal liability, policy coverage and sound claims decision-making

·      Background in a TPA, insurer, loss adjuster or claims handling environment — ideally with audit or quality review exposure

·      Ability to identify issues, give clear practical feedback and communicate confidently with teams and clients
