Job title: Account Director - ProFin

Salary: £100,000 +, dependent on experience

PURPOSE OF ROLE

A well-regarded, independent Lloyd's broker in the City of London is seeking an experienced Account Director to join its ProFin team. This is a strong opportunity for a broking professional to take on a client-facing role within a firm known for the quality of service it provides, with international reach through its network of overseas offices and broker partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing a portfolio of Professional Indemnity accounts from inception through to renewal, supporting the placement of risks across Lloyd's and company markets, maintaining strong working relationships with clients and underwriters, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation throughout the policy lifecycle.

DAY-TO-DAY

Handling client queries and renewal negotiations, preparing submissions for the London and international markets, liaising with underwriters to secure competitive terms, and working closely with colleagues across the Financial Lines team to deliver a joined-up service to clients.

EXPERIENCE

10–15+ years' experience in insurance broking, ideally within Professional Indemnity, Financial Lines, or Profin classes, with a track record of handling accounts and/or supporting the placement of risks with Lloyd's and company markets.

SKILLS

Strong client relationship management, clear communication, sound technical insurance knowledge, and excellent attention to detail and organisation. Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. CII) are desirable.
